Getting to the event

The UW School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences is located at 1122 NE Boat St, Seattle, WA 98105.

Directions from I-5

  • Exit 45th St.going east (turn left from I-5 southbound, right from I-5 northbound).
  • Turn south (right) on 15th Ave, crossing Pacific.
  • Turn right on Boat St; go ~1-1/2 blocks; SAFS is on the right.

Directions from SR 520

  • Exit Montlake Blvd going north (turn left from 520 eastbound, right from 520 westbound).
  • Get in left lane of Montlake; turn west (left) onto Pacific.
  • Turn south (left) onto 15th Ave.
  • Turn right on Boat St; go ~1-1/2 blocks; SAFS is on the right.

Parking

Limited pay parking is available off Boat Street (Boat Street Marina Parking Lot $12/day on non-event days), as well as some metered street parking. Because this event is on a Sunday, all street parking is free!

Venue Information

The main entrance is just up the stairs off of Boat St. A ramp further down the street leads up from Boat St. towards the building and connects with this door.

All entrances will be attended by event hosts who can assist with mobility needs. There is an ADA-accessible door in the back of the building.

There will be no HEPA air filters at this event. Though air will be regularly circulated, masks are highly encouraged.

We have dedicated a quiet room for anyone who wishes to decompress.
